Hyperbaric Oxygen
Therapy

Provides a stable supply of oxygen to damaged
cells to create true beauty that is healthy from within.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

By breathing 100% pure oxygen in an oxygen chamber with a higher pressure than normal atmospheric conditions,
oxygen levels are increased by 10 to 15 times,
allowing oxygen to reach wounded tissues that it would not normally penetrate,
to reduce inflammatory and aging cells, improve certain illnesses, and restore physical functions.

Principles of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Pressure Effect

Improves blood flow by increasing
the pressure of high-concentration
oxygen.

Oxygen Partial
Pressure Effect

As the solubility of oxygen increases,
the oxygen supply to various
tissues improves.

Pharmacological
Effect

Therapeutically stimulates rapid cell
regeneration by promoting aerobic
metabolism.

Have You Tried Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is only possible through twice the normal atmospheric pressure and oxygen concentrations close to 100%.
General oxygen generators create an oxygen concentration of only 20%,
so their purpose is less therapeutic and more for fatigue relief and general physical wellness.
Therefore, it is important to receive therapy at a professional hyperbaric oxygen therapy center.

speciality

What’s special about ONUL Plastic Surgery’s
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?

01

Induces cell regeneration to help
fight aging.

According to one study which examined the skin tissue of people who had received hyperbaric oxygen therapy, the density of collagen, elastic fibers, and the number of blood vessels increased, and the number of aging cells decreased compared to before treatment.
Telomeres, the length of which determine aging and lifespan, were also observed to either no longer shorten or even regain length.

02

Helps with recovery after
procedures and surgeries.

In wounded areas, tissue necrosis can occur when the swelling caused by inflammation leads to poor oxygen supply.
When a wound exists, hyperbaric oxygen therapy reduces swelling and relieves inflammation, leading to faster wound healing and recovery.

03

Treats diseases and
improves overall health.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy improves memory and cognitive functions by increasing oxygen saturation in the brain and stimulating brain cell functioning. It also raises general energy levels in the body, helping to treat symptoms of menopause, improve physical strength, and increase sexual function.

Precautions after Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

01

During your first therapy session,
you may experience fatigue
due to increased tension.
These symptoms are temporary and
disappear within a few hours.

02

Temporary myopia and dizziness
may occur after therapy.
These symptoms are temporary and
disappear within a few hours.

03

It is recommended to avoid activities
that may cause changes in pressure,
such as boarding an airplane,
within 24 hours of therapy.

Reasons to avoid Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

- If you have a severe cold with nasal congestion
- If you have claustrophobia
- If you have glaucoma or have had cataract surgery - If you have a history of epilepsy or seizures

- If you have pneumothorax or other chronic lung diseases (asthma, etc.)
- If you have a paroxysmal cardiac arrythmia
- If you have heart disease such as bradycardia or tachycardia - If you have recently had otolaryngologic surgery or are receiving treatment

Precautions before entering Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Chamber

1. Items that may cause fires or explosions, or other metal substances that may cause static electricity, are prohibited.
    - Cell phones, cigarettes, lighters, batteries, etc.
    - Do not wear static electricity-generating clothes, contact lenses, or accessories.
2. If your ears hurt, breathe in and apply pressure to your ears instead of breathing through your nose and mouth.
3. When the air is pressurized or decompressed, close your mouth and breathe through your nose.
4. Swallowing helps when your ears hurt or feel blocked, similar to when riding an airplane.
5. Do not consume carbonated drinks within one hour of a therapy session.
