Dr. Insoo Kirk of ONUL Plastic Surgery Serves as Judge for the 2024 Miss Intercontinental Korea Pageant

Dr. Insoo Kirk, the chief director of ONUL Plastic Surgery Clinic, was appointed as a judge for the 2024 Miss Intercontinental Korea competition and attended the event.

Miss Intercontinental is considered one of the top five international beauty pageants, with a long-standing history and tradition that spans 52 years.

The Korean edition of the pageant has been held independently since 2011, marking its 14th year in 2024.

This year’s Miss Intercontinental Korea began with the Seoul regional competition and continued through various local contests across the country, including Honam (Gwangju), Gyeongsang (Daegu), Busan-Gyeongnam, and the Seoul metropolitan area. Top finalists participated in a showcase training camp held in Shanghai, China, on July 16.

The final round took place on July 28 at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul, where contestants showcased their beauty and talents through self-introductions, group dance performances, swimsuit and evening gown parades, offering a wide range of visual highlights.

As a judge, Dr. Kirk evaluated contestants not only on their physical appearance but also on their talents and potential, assessing both inner and outer beauty.

He also offered words of encouragement and congratulations to the participants.

“True beauty goes beyond appearance—it's rooted in one’s individuality and confidence,” said Dr. Kirk. “While external features such as facial contours are important, loving oneself and having a confident attitude are equally vital. That’s why I focused on evaluating both inner and outer qualities.”
